Will this color the bath water?
No, our bath soaks do not have any pigments or color in them - we don't want our skin soaking up any of that stuff. Since there isn't anything coloring the water, there will not be any staining of the bathtub.
Can I use more than 1 at a time?
We recommend only using 1 bag at a time. Even in very large bathtubs, we recommend using a single soak for your first time, and no more than 1.5 bags if a larger than standard bathtub is being used.
Is this the same as Epsom Salts?
Epsom Salts have magnesium in them, but it's a different type - it's much larger (making it harder to absorb which means you absorb way less) and it's not bioavailable, so your body flushes it out of your system as fast as possible. Ours are a different type of salt with much smaller Magnesium that is bioavailable, plus they also have specific vitamins and minerals added to them (something Epsom Salts don't have).
Can I mix this with bubble bath?
You absolutely can, but we do recommend you make extra sure you cover as much of your body with water to make sure you get the full benefits of the soak.\n\n
Is it safe during pregnancy?
We always recommend you check with your doctor first, but there’s nothing inside our soaks that would be unsafe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.\n\n
Can kids use these soaks?
These are officially made for adults. We always recommend you check with a pediatrician first, but we have lots of parents that write us and tell us that they use 1/3 or 1/2 a pouch with their kids.
What if I don't have a bathtub?
We’ve lots of soak stans that use ½ or ⅓ of a pouch as a foot soak. You won’t get the total benefits, but it can definitely still help.
